PROJECT MANAGER

E Construction Ltd. is currently seeking two experienced PROJECT MANAGERS to work within our Fort McMurray Operation. This position oversees the management and coordination of civil construction projects for their division.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Obtain, review and interpret tender specifications to determine project feasibility and job requirements.
  • Review and assess work completed to ensure schedules are maintained.
  • Network with local government, private contractors and general public.
  • Responsible for cost control of projects.
  • Ensure projects meet or exceed the objectives of quality and profitability targets.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress estimates to ensure proper payments are received and paid.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate month end accounting.
  • Monitor and actively participate in managing cash flow and receivables.
  • Ensure project legal documents are completed and signed.
  • Other related duties as required.
 REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
  • 2 – 3 year Technical Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Class 5 Drivers License.             
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in civil construction Project Management
  • Must comply with Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
  • Availability to work both out-of-town and remote locations.
