We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic, seasonal Hydro-Vac Truck Operator, to work full-time for our Fort McMurray Division.

  • Operate the Hydro-Vac Truck and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
  • Proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge
  • Operate the Water Truck safely and efficiently
  • Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area
  • Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness
  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, sub-contractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
  • Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics.
  • Must examine situations in light of the principles of the Code of Ethics. 
  • Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required.
  • High-School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience within the road construction industry
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience operating a Hydro-Vac Truck is required.
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Vac Trucks and other road construction equipment.
  • Knowledge road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements.
  • Understanding of equipment controls and electronics.
  • Out of town travel is required.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
  • Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
