We are currently looking for a seasonal, full-time ASPHALT PLANT LABOURER for our 2018 construction season.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely unload hot oil from delivery trucks.
  • Inspect and grease asphalt conveyors, and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Safely operate a loader.
  • Safely operate a bobcat in both narrow and open spaces.
  • Shoveling asphalt and other plant materials
  • Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, and responds accordingly
  • Ability to follow direction.
  • Performing other various labourer duties around the asphalt plant as required.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
  • Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
  • Must comply with Drug and Alcohol, and Fitness testing requirements.
  • Prior experience working within an Asphalt Plant setting is a definite asset
  • Availability to work both out-of-town and remote locations.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Asphalt Plant specific training provided.
