We are looking for an enthusiastic, seasonal SKIDSTEER OPERATOR, to work full-time in our East Division for the 2018 construction season.
  • Competency in the safe and efficient operation of Skidsteers.
  • Maneuver heavy equipment into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.
  • Ability to coordinate, discuss and plan project paving procedures and goals with fellow paving crew personnel.
  • Using equipment for backfilling, digging, loam/gravel spread, trenching, and loading trucks.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of Skidsteer Operating experience, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Physically able to work under temperature extremes for extended periods of time.
  • Must comply with Drug and Alcohol, and Fitness testing requirements.
  • Prior experience working within a paving company is a definite asset.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
  • Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
  • Willing to work out of town and in remote locations, as required.
  • Willing to work overtime, as required.
